What are Oral Surgeons?

Oral surgeons are dentists who have completed a 4-year advanced professional training course in the field of dental surgery and have specialised in this area. It is particularly important in the case of many surgical interventions in the mouth and jaw area not to lose sight of the dental aspects. In the case of implantation, for example, it is not simply a matter of anchoring the implant in the bone in the best way possible but also of creating a satisfactory denture (prosthesis). Oral surgeons are particularly suited to this task due to their experience and training.
